I.T books can be fun too...!

Tired of reading I.T books that have a new edition every year or the technology becomes obsolete?. Here are the recent ones i loved reading and are lot of fun, esp as they are about people.

Andy Hunt is back with a very fresh I.T book after quite some time. Pragmatic Thinking and Learning: Refactor Your Wetware will go on to become a classic like his The Pragmatic Programmer: From Journeyman to Master - Andrew Hunt, David Thomas

Presented by the six principal consultants of The Atlantic Systems Guild, this is a fun book though i doubt you will find anything new that you haven't seen.

Programmers. Those species who can never be happy and satisfied. When the frustration level goes up, many go into management. Or if they are really into DOING something - tools and spanners - they change their careers. I.T never fails to make something else out of a person ;)

Like The Paris Review interviews, glad to read programmers talking at length about the craft and the years of efforts that go into it, for creators are not really supposed to talk in I.T. From the slashdot review above, there is one more.

O'Reilly's Theory in Practice series is a good one.
