Guster & Zooey Deschanel

It's a crappy life. Finding solace in music. And continue living the same way. For the world can't be changed. Or is this all necessary to make the person you will become?. Become what?. Everytime i try to resolve something - that effort to resolve and its mind effects - the experience - becomes a bigger nonsense - than what i set out to resolve.

I just cannot even imagine - digest how some people can be. What all they are so disgustingly capable of. There are all kinds of people doing all kinds of things  out there. It's not worth trying to find a reason or logic in this life. Why there should be any explanation or coherence?. Can't expect anything - any sense or decency - from anybody. Atleast to save your soul, don't you dare. Anyways.

My Alter Ego: That's too dark...! People are narrow & selfish and on to something. While in that mode, they do things that affect others. It's only natural. Everybody's proving to someone or themselves. We are all in a System and the System has well defined goals. Outputs. Results. So whatever it takes to achieve them. Life.

Me: How can someone be so insolant and don't even need a second before playing other(s)?

MAE: Apparently they can be. What can you do? Equality, Justice etc., often are only in the text books. Can't be monitored at the micro/individual level. People are supposed to be responsible, matured and above all, know. Even the individuals tend to be so dramatic or difficult to reason with.

Me: Well, Whatever. It's almost never possible to pass a judgement on someone. People are too complicated and stupid. All the nuances you can imagine and more. And you don't even know them. I just need to remember this.

Lost and Gone Forever - Guster.
One of the most beautiful album ever. The lyrics pierce, weave together and stay with you.  Probably a truly great album after a long long time to affect me and leave an impact as we become numb in this senseless world - and nothing can evoke a feeling - to make you remember how beautiful life can be - when you are world weary. Thank you Guster. You are my stress buster ;)

Their other great album is Guster on Ice: Live from Portland, Maine The crowd seems delirious and i can only imagine why after going thro the material ;)

Another 2 albums i cannot stop listening to are Volume 1 & 2 of She and Him. I was afraid looking at the covers they are some kinda teenage-bubble-gum Backstreet Boys N'Sync shit. No. There is genuine writing and Zooey is such a colorful and spirited character...!.

500 Days of Summer - Trailer

Tastefully made and a beautiful listen... just like her last film that i loved so much (500 days of summer). While watching the film itself i have noticed she has a unique way of dialogue delivery and even singing - Sugar Town - but came across these albums only much later.

Light, meaningful, relaxing, easy, sunny, (deceptively)simple... California Style - sometimes even reminding of Fleetwood Mac. If love can be so sweet, don't even think of dying without loving someone - so innocent.
