Why Regina Spektor?
Coz you never know what she's going to sing about next or how. Most versatile voice i have heard and she uses it to the maximum effect that leaves a forever fresh feeling. And she writes and sings as it happens to her - in her head, in her mind. And she is not afraid to experiment. "Soviet Kitsch" - i don't think anybody could have pulled it off the way she did, with almost no/minimal music to support. And the amazement continues till today through all her albums...
